Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is looking for amazing Practice Manager to join our Elk Grove team!

Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is a northern California based practice that offers comprehensive services including preventive dental care, orthodontics and oral surgery for every gap-toothed, mischievous, silly, giggly smile. Our company sees only private-pay and PPO insured patients in beautiful private offices. The Role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Practice Manager's duties. Ensuring the practice's overall financial performance, safety, quality and patient experience by ensuring that the company's policies and processes are accurately executed on a daily basis. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Practice Manager and the Practice's Patient Care Leader to ensure that our Mission, Purpose and Beliefs are supported and the overall vision is consistently executed upon.


The Essential Job Elements



Ensure excellent patient experience: Collaborate with the team to ensure all patients have a positive and memorable experience from check-in to check-out. Lead by example, ensuring that patient interactions are always friendly, caring, and efficient. Collections management: Oversee collections processes to ensure all outstanding patient balances are followed up on in a timely manner. This includes working with the billing team to ensure accurate invoicing and resolving any billing issues in a sensitive, professional manner. Problem-solving and de-escalation: Handle patient and staff concerns with patience and professionalism, using problem-solving skills to de-escalate challenging situations. Ensure that complaints are addressed quickly to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and retention. Assist in ensuring the office meets efficiency goals: Work with the Practice Manager to monitor and maintain office metrics*, such as patient flow, scheduling efficiency, and overall practice productivity. Ensure that systems and processes are optimized to meet operational goals.
Support the Practice Manager in achieving financial goals, production targets, and maintaining a strong bottom line Oversee patient flow to ensure smooth operations and timely patient care Assist with the training, mentoring, and coaching of new and existing staff members to ensure exceptional service standards Provide feedback to the Practice Manager regarding employee performance and help manage performance reviews and disciplinary actions when necessary Ensure patient scheduling is optimized for maximum efficiency and service quality Address escalated patient concerns directly and work to resolve issues on-site, maintaining a focus on patient retention Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, etc.) Assist in preparing and reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, tracking key efficiency metricsand performance indicators Assist with managing the referral process and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners Additional duties as assigned
