We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and drink quality. This position requires a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate the POS system efficiently for cash handling and customer transactions. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, making specialty coffee drinks. Collaborate with management on shift management tasks to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in cafe/restaurant FOH setting for at least two years, server experience a plus. Must be proficient in making all coffee bar drinks. Background in food service management or hospitality management is beneficial. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities when necessary. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
