Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily bakery and deli operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team
Oversee food preparation, handling, and presentation to meet safety and quality standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Support shift management by coordinating schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels
Assist in implementing marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase sales
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Participate in hiring processes including interviewing candidates for various roles within the store
Experience
Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service or fast food restaurants with bakery or deli sections
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, and shift oversight
Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety protocols
Familiarity with Toast POS systems
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food production planning
Prior hospitality or restaurant management experience including casual dining or fine dining settings is advantageous
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash handling responsibilities confidently
Leadership qualities with a focus on team development, operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
