Floor Manager Needed - Anis Bistro (Buckhead)

Anis Cafe and Bistro is a casual, upscale French bistro in Buckhead. We are looking for an experienced full-time floor manager. Candidates must be quick, hardworking, and willing to be hands-on with the floor staff to keep the restaurant running smoothly. Wine knowledge is helpful. (Ability to speak French is a bonus, but not a requirement.) Schedule is somewhat flexible, but candidates must be available weekends (including Sundays), lunches, and holidays.

Job responsibilities include:

greeting and assisting customers as the maitre d' (Open Table experience preferred)

taking reservations

monitoring food presentation and ensuring service standards are met

handling customer inquiries and complaints

recruiting, training and supervising staff

promoting and marketing the business, creating events to bring in new customers

making improvements to the business and the development of the restaurant

ordering supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/ guidelines
