Position Summary:

Strickland Brothers Oil Change is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our fast-paced team. The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring the store meets sales, service, and operational goals. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a passion for providing high-quality service to our customers. This position may require multi-loctaion support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, motivate, and train team members to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction. Foster a positive, supportive work environment.

Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional service is provided to each customer, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Operational Support:

Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and ensuring that all service standards and procedures are followed.

Sales and Marketing:

Support store sales goals by promoting services, encouraging repeat customers, and creating a positive experience that drives customer loyalty.

Quality Control:

Oversee the quality of work performed, ensuring all services meet company standards and safety guidelines.

Problem-Solving:

Resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and employee concerns quickly and effectively.

Administrative Duties:

Assist with scheduling, payroll, and store reports as needed. Help with cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, health regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in automotive service, retail, or management is preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Customer-centric attitude with the ability to resolve issues efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Basic knowledge of oil change services and automotive maintenance is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
