Founded in 1890, the Trager Family Jewish Community Center is a non-profit community service agency committed to enhancing the quality of family life and promoting physical, intellectual and spiritual wellness. It provides health related activities, cultural and educational programs that serve the entire community, including populations at risk. Membership and services at the J are offered to the entire community. The J offers sports and wellness, youth and camping, Jewish culture and performing arts, early childhood and senior programs and a community center open to all.

Our Early Learning Center is located in the Roth Family Education Center and we serve 165 children in our 12- classroom school.

Our state-of-the-art facility includes an interactive playground for all ages, a beautiful outdoor classroom in our Courtyard and classrooms that are designed for children's development.

We are looking for qualified candidates to work in our Infant Classrooms. Hours would be 9:30am to 6:00pm.

Job Skills / Requirements

Some responsibilities of an Assistant Infant Teacher will include:

- Interacting with the children and encouraging their involvement in activities.

- Ability to implement behavior management strategies

- Preparing a warm and safe environment that is clean and appealing.

- Able to document the children in your care days and follow the child's individual schedule.

- Being able to get up and down to interact and meet the children's needs.

- Having the ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children!

Starting pay: $16.00 per hour, increase based on experience and education
