The state-of-the-art Rainier Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Assistant Hospital Manager to join our team!
Rainier Veterinary Hospital is an established, veterinary-owned hospital located in the heart of Seattle, Wash., with a team of more than 20 skilled veterinary professionals.
The successful candidate must have great communication skills and the ability to work closely with the practice manager and team leaders. The candidate must also possess exceptional client service and patient care skills as well as strong organizational and leadership skills with a high level of proactivity.
In addition to supporting the practice manager with tasks such as onboarding and training, standard operation procedure (SOP) creation and implementation, coordination of staff meetings and training sessions, there will also be assistance with managing the team leaders and tasks such as (but not limited to) assuring safety protocols and OSHA requirements are being met, shift coverage when needed, client service and communication, inventory management and ordering and administrative and financial duties.
It also is expected that the Assistant Hospital Manager will actively participate in Veterinary Roots (management support team) community events and provide support for our hospital's sister non-profit, the Rainier Animal Fund.
Requirements
3+ years of veterinary experience (required)
Leadership experience (required)
Veterinary nursing experience (preferred)
Salary
$26 to $32 per hour, depending on experience
