Seeking an assistant manager for our grow. Must be sharp, timely and motivated. Duties include a little bit of everything from cloning to harvest. We are a tight crew and work well together, keeping a tight schedule with strong calendar management practices. Positive mental attitude with the ability to clearly communicate and delegate tasks are a must. The ideal person has a strong work ethic, is down for the culture and is stoked to grow a bunch of bomb weed. This is a full time, salaried position, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. There are 4 flowering rooms with 32 lights each, staggered about 18 days apart. We run a lean crew of 4 full time employees who each contribute to every part of the grow, from cutting clones, to transplanting, defoliating, foliar sprays, cleaning, harvesting, and everything in between to help keep the ship full steam ahead. Essentially you will run point for the grow. There is a calendar that we stick to, but as I\xe2\x80\x99m sure you know, sometimes in a grow, you have to bob and weave. We all work together as a team and have a general sense of what needs to be done, so the main gist of the gig is keeping the gears in motion and spirits high. There is plenty to learn at every stage of one\'s experience and being receptive to learn, open to collaboration and eager to contribute will only help us all. Necessary qualifications for candidates are: Active OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit Reliable transportation to and from work At least 3 years experience working in a commercial cannabis facility and a passion to work with cannabis. Basic to advanced knowledge of botany, chemistry, data analysis, plant physiology and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in use of google sheets and ability to learn how to use Aroya monitoring systems, metrc and handle environmental controllers. Willingness to do a wide range of manual labor tasks and ability to lift at least 55lbs Demonstration of a strong attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, adapt, maintain organization, and use a big picture, systems thinking approach to solving problems. Good communication skills, stress management, and sense of accountability. We all make mistakes, owning up to them and moving on is how we learn from them. Experience serving in a leadership capacity and understanding of how to communicate your knowledge and teach new skills.
