Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and high-quality service delivery
Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to safety standards
Supervise inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using POS systems such as Toast POS
Handle cash management duties including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas
Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and assisting in staff onboarding and performance evaluations
Monitor food production and kitchen activities to optimize efficiency and maintain high culinary standards
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability
Foster a positive team environment that promotes hospitality excellence and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles with supervising responsibilities
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations in quick service or casual dining environments
Demonstrated ability in staff training, team management, and leadership within the food industry
Experience with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and health regulations
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality excellence
Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
