Job Summary
Oversee a $7.5M operation that includes an upscale cafe, fine dining restaurant, and catering services within a world-class art museum. Provenance, a 50-seat contemporary restaurant, and Provenance Cafe offer locally sourced, globally inspired cuisine. You will partner with the General Manager to manage operations, meet budget goals, and uphold client expectations while ensuring safety, sanitation, and exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations in compliance with company policies and regulations
Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and associates
Manage food cost, purchasing, and inventory control to maintain quality and profitability
Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with culinary teams on menu planning and execution
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Lead and participate in staff meetings, training, and special projects
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years of upscale food service management, including multi-unit oversight
Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience in scheduling, training, and coaching teams
Skilled in cost control, purchasing, and inventory management
Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Strong catering background required
Familiarity with health, fire, and food safety regulations
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred
