We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service within our grocery store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in sales, and a passion for training and development.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. Drive sales initiatives by implementing effective merchandising strategies and promotions. Oversee employee orientation and training development programs to enhance team performance. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct regular inventory assessments and manage pricing strategies to optimize profit margins. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and organizational practices. Lead by example, motivating staff to achieve their best performance while promoting teamwork.

Requirements

Strong sales acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and implement strategies effectively. Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in math for pricing and inventory management. Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate employees. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining operational excellence.
