Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Front of House Manager to help oversee the daily operations of restaurant FOH. The ideal candidate will possess a background in food service management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a passion for hospitality, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service while maintaining operational efficiency. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Supervise and train front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and hospitality. Oversee daily operations, including managing shifts, running pre shift meetings, conducting shift close outs. Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Handle cash management and POS systems. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Actively touch tables and check on guest to ensure a high level of service and food quality satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and team management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and inventory control practices. Experience with casual dining establishments preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to train and develop staff effectively while promoting teamwork. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams. Culinary experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
