Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimating professional to support our Estimating and Pre-Construction teams. This role will focus on estimating and assisting lead estimators in preparing proposals and bids for our multifamily, retail/residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will also assist with the preconstruction process for our awarded projects sending out submittals to our clients, tracking approvals and outstanding submittals, supporting communication with clients in the bidding process, getting quotes from our suppliers, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the Construction or Estimating field.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with countertop takeoffs and cost calculation for small- and large-scale projects. Prepare and send quotes and proposals to clients in a timely and accurate manner. Request and collect pricing from our vendors and suppliers as needed. Follow up on submitted bids, request client feedback, and gather updates on project status. Review project specifications, blueprints and bid documents to identify scope of work and any special requirements. Assist in preparing submittals for awarded projects, including requesting and sending samples, identifying value engineering (VE) alternatives, and assembling product data. Track the status of submittals and update material pricing to determine accurate project costs. Help maintain estimating files, bid folders, and logs--ensuring they are up to date with current pricing, approved submittals, RFIs, and latest drawing sets. Schedule and attend bid meetings. Support effective communication with vendors and clients throughout the bidding and preconstruction phases. Perform basic administrative and clerical duties.

Skills and Qualifications:



Previous experience in Construction preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications (can be trained) Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) Comfortable learning and using estimating takeoff software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Willingness to learn and grow within the role and the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
