Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director in our childcare center. As an Assistant Director, you will work alongside the Director to manage daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director in supervising and training staff, as well as maintaining adequate staffing levels. Managing the school's budget and financial success for the school to contribute to the profitability of the company. Operate the school while maintaining compliance with state licensing requirements. Collaborating with teachers to design and execute curricula and activities that foster the growth, learning, and development of the students. Purchasing supplies, equipment, food, etc. while operating within budgetary constraints. Develop partnerships and marketing strategies. Safeguarding the well-being of the children in our custody. Build relationships with families, staff, and the community to promote the center's mission and values.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field At least two years of experience in a leadership role in a childcare center Knowledge of state licensing regulations and compliance standards Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
