The Assistant Director of our Preschool plays a vital leadership role in managing daily operations, supporting our educational programs, and fostering a positive environment for children, staff, and families. This position involves strategic planning, administrative oversight, and collaboration with teachers to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, educational expertise, and a passion for early childhood development.
Responsibilities
Assist the Director in overseeing daily preschool operations, ensuring adherence to policies and licensing regulations
Support curriculum development and implementation to promote engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate professional development opportunities
Develop and monitor budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources while maintaining program quality
Lead strategic planning initiatives aimed at program improvement, enrollment growth, and community engagement
Collaborate with teacher to create a nurturing environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to promote family involvement and address concerns
Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing requirements, health and safety standards
Participate in community outreach efforts to enhance program visibility and partnerships
Qualifications
Proven management experience within early childhood education or related administrative roles
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff effectively
Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and management practices
Knowledge of education administration policies, licensing standards, and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
