Our Assistant Directors are responsible and accountable for managing as well as directing the daily operations of our FSR restaurant during their assigned shifts. These responsibilities include but are not limited to opening/closing the restaurant as well as managing the teams, tasks, obstacles, and activities required to meet and/or surpass our brand standards and requirements of service, quality, safety, speed of service, productivity, and care. They are responsible for achieving the assignments, and directives and goals set by the Directors. In the absence or under the directive of the Director they are responsible for oversight of the operations of the FSR restaurant.
Each of our Assistant Directors will be given an additional role of leading and supporting a "Specific Area" of the restaurant including the teams assigned to that specific area ie. Guest Experience, Brand/Sales Growth, Food Safety & Quality, Stewardship, or Talent (See attached for summary descriptions)
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Scheduled weekly a minimum of 30 hrs or more per week full-time
Open availability and agreeable to work multiple Saturdays per month as needed
Open availability and agreeable to work multiple Opening and Closing Shifts each week as needed
Prior management or leadership experience preferred not required
By posted deadline complete application for job promotion (internal candidates) when applicable
Completed & passed all Basic Team Member Courses in Pathway
Working knowledge of the Chick-fil-A Service & Marketing Models & Strategies: ie. "Winning Hearts Every Day"
Working knowledge of Chick-fil-A Tools and Software: ie. @Chick-fil-A, Pathway, CFA One, CFA Now
Working knowledge of Google, Messaging systems, Microsoft, and other internal software tools
Must be willing to work inside and outside of the restaurant during shift
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift

The Assistant Director with oversight for the Area Guest Experience is specifically responsible for managing and supporting the service provided to our guests through our inside dining, pickup, and curbside venues. The direction of this area is sharply focused on achieving consistently and daily the highest degree of Overall Satisfaction with our guests. They are also responsible for ensuring the safety of all team members, the stewardship of labor, the cleanliness of our venues, and the continuous training and development of team members via Pathway. The oversight for this area is also responsible for ensuring the safety of all team members, the care and functionality of all equipment and vehicles, the stewardship of labor and resources, and the continuous training and development of team members. With a team focus, the Assistant Director also supports our other directors to ensure that our standards and requirements for customer service are executed and achieved.

Area of Stewardship
The Assistant Director with oversight for the Area of Stewardship is specifically responsible for managing and supporting the facility and equipment demands and needs of the business to keep our restaurants fully operational and capable of delivering daily "Remark"able experiences to our guests. They are also responsible for the organization and execution of our cleaning, equipment service, and maintenance programs, including equipment, facilities, parking lot, landscaping, flag, and vehicles. The Assistant Director is also responsible for assisting with the training and education of our leaders and team members in the operations, cleaning, and maintenance of our equipment. They oversee the dispatching and scheduling of service repairs and maintenance with CFA Support and third-party vendors to minimize disruptions and verify the proper completion of service and repairs. With a team focus, the Assistant Director also supports our other directors to ensure that our standards and requirements for customer service are executed and achieved.
