Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Manager to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the efficient management of resources, and maintaining high standards of plant care and management. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of supervisory experience and technical knowledge in agriculture, animal husbandry, and equipment maintenance. Wage depending on experience.

Job description:

- Assist with all aspects of cannabis cultivation operations, from seedling to harvest, including cloning, transplanting, feeding, trimming, pest management, environmental monitoring, harvesting and record-keeping.

- Applicant must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check, as required by the State. Information on how to obtain the background check will be at the bottom of this listing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform plant and crop maintenance using standard procedures including but not limited to cloning, transplanting, feeding, pruning, pest management, harvesting, trimming, and curing.

- Maintain clean environment by removing and disposing of all cannabis waste, cleaning, and sanitizing all rooms and tools used daily.

- Assist in collecting data to monitor plant health, soil health, environmental control systems, and seed-to-sale tracking.

- Meet any required activity performance counts.

- Master and apply basic principles of cultivation SOPs and sanitation.

- Assist others as part of a team to accomplish cultivation goals set forth by management.

- Pesticide application.

- Perform all tasks set by management in a safe and efficient manner.

- This role routinely uses standard office equipment, technology, and software.

Working Environment:

- Uneven surfaces, stand/sit long periods of time, bending/stooping, or hard surfaces.

- Required to wear PPE - PPE is provided by Genesis Farms

- Working in a cultivation environment, which can include no natural light, varying

temperatures, and louder than normal ambient noise.

- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more

Experience:

- 2 or more years of experience in the cannabis industry (required)

- Science related 2 or 4 year degree (preferred)

- 2-4 years of management experience (preferred)
