Education and/or Experience



Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. At least three years of experience in accounting with Country Club experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of Jonas preferred.

Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work additional hours as assigned/required. Job Summary (Essential Functions)




Assist the Controller in all aspects of the accounting department functions including: budgeting, forecasting, and preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual journal entries and reports. Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Ability to perform Controller responsibilities in their absence.

Job Tasks/Duties



Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting. Maintains records and prepares reports. Accounting point of contact for Member general inquiries. Responsible for Accounts Payable functions including: o Review, sort/match, and enter invoices Process check requests, accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments oMatch invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly. Maintain vendor relations including: invoice/statement discrepancies, account status, file maintenance, and vendor inquiries. oProduce monthly reports and assist in month end closing Audit and process credit card bills Responsible for Accounts Receivable functions including: o Process POS End of Day Process Member payments including remote check deposits and PAP payments, ACH, and credit cards. oMonitor monthly A/R aging report and follow the collections procedure Assist Members with accounting/statement concerns and make corrections where necessary oComplete month end process to A/R and produce Member statements Assures accounting procedures, internal controls, and database management compliance. Assist in development of system controls to ensure data integrity. Reviews daily, weekly, monthly, and annual activity and makes necessary adjustment journal entries. Assist in the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation. Assist the Controller in producing accurate and timely financial statements. Assist in maintenance of the Accounting Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Prepares estoppel requests. Attends departmental and club training meetings. Completes other appropriate assignments that are assigned by the Controller.
