Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our team! This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, and maintaining strong financial performance. Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of community operations, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks. Oversee property leasing processes, including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease agreements while upselling available units and amenities. Maintain accurate data entry within property management software such as Yardi ; handle contracts, legal documentation, and filing systematically. Resolve resident concerns promptly through effective conflict management and excellent customer service skills; foster positive relationships through proactive communication. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents. . Handle administrative duties including filing, record keeping, phone etiquette, and office organization to support smooth daily operations. Engage in community outreach efforts to promote property amenities and services; utilize sales techniques to upsell units or additional services. Collaborate with legal teams or property owners on lease negotiations, contract review, and compliance issues. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, leasing activity, maintenance requests, and resident feedback to inform strategic decisions.

Experience



Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential communities. Familiarity with Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law is essential. Hands-on experience with property management software such as Yardi & CRM strong data entry skills are required. Background in customer service or sales within real estate or property leasing environments. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and positive resident relations. Knowledge of facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination and vendor oversight. Office experience involving filing systems, legal documentation handling, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions. Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract review processes. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail across all responsibilities.
