Commercial Assistant Superintendent

.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Superintendents in overseeing, scheduling, and coordinating all construction/development activities at the assigned project to completion in the most efficient manner possible, on time, and on budget. Help Superintendents supervise all on-site construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling and coordination and expediting of material deliveries Assist Superintendent with project start-up tasks, such as trailer set-up, temporary utilities, securing permits and approvals from authorities, and systems set-up Help Superintendent in collecting information for daily logs, safety and incident reports, schedule updates, and other required field documentation Carry out all other duties assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications:

Familiar with all applicable construction practices & building codes, OSHA compliance requirements, Dust Control compliance requirements, and all other regulations and requirements from government agencies having jurisdiction over project activities. Knowledge of Sales Force and Procore is a plus. Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills and the ability to use an iPad are necessary. Previous work experience directly with project team members (Architects, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors) for overall project success.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
