We are looking for an Assistant Commercial Property and Project Manager to join our growing team!

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and driven with a keen understanding of the unique needs of Commercial Real Estate Project Management and Property and Facility Management.

The position of the Assistant Commercial Property and Project Manager supports our mission and sustains the health of our commercial properties we own and/or manager.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Manages all aspects of a portfolio of commercial, industrial and retail properties.
  • Ensure maintenance and property appearance of the highest possible standards.
  • Maintain excellent tenant relations by quickly responding to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building maintenance staff resolve problems promptly.
  • At the owner\'s discretion, assists leasing team with new leases and lease renewals. Coordinates Tenant move-ins and move-outs and walk-through spaces with Tenant and Project Manager.
  • Works with leasing team to coordinate new lease execution. Provide orientation and onboarding to new tenants.
  • Continuously review tenant accounts, monitors the collection process, and actively engages in resolving collection issues and disputes.
  • Regularly review vendor contracts/performance, addresses issues, and negotiates new contracts as needed.
  • Performs regular property inspections. Works with project manager to recommend alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as necessary.
  • Prepares and delivers timely, accurate, and complete reports to ownership.
  • Have or be able to get and Ohio Real Estate Agent License.
  • Experience in Commercial Property Management or willingness to learn.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with property management software a plus (ApFolio).
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a motivated self-starter.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Must be able to travel to various cities and suburban buildings within the portfolio.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree (Preferred).
  • Live in the Northwest Ohio area.
