Title: Assistant Coach: Women's Basketball


Unit: Non-Union


Department: Athletics- RLTAC


Reports to: Director of Athletics


Date: October 2025


Scope of work: The assistant Women's Basketball coach is responsible for player development and assisting the head coach with team practice and all game preparations. The Assistant Coach behaves and conducts work processes in a manner consistent with the Region 21 standards and the College's guiding principles. Performs all daily functions and activities within the guidelines and philosophy of the college.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Head Coach:

Provides quality coaching and instruction to students participating on the Women's Basketball team; develops, implements, and teaches related training sessions and techniques. Recruit student athletes in accordance with NJCAA athletic regulations, conference and college values. Committed to student success. Help maintain RCC Athletic facilities used by the Women's Basketball program. Assist in supervising student athletes on trips and onsite during all program related practices, games, and functions. Serve as role model to assist the team members in developing and displaying appropriate attitudes and behavior expected of athletic teams and individuals representing RCC. Maintains sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, ability, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Experience coaching Women's Basketball at the College or High School level

Compensation: $6,000.000 for season


Location: Roxbury campus

Expected Start Date: October 2025


This is a seasonal contracted position. Assistant Coach will be compensated for the timeline of the contract/season. * Basketball Season: October 1, 2025, to March 15th, 2026
