Assistant Boys Volleyball Coach

2025-2026 School Year

Independence Local Schools in Cuyahoga County is looking for a High School Assistant Boys Volleyball Coach for Independence High School. Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required. Must be organized, hard-working, and demonstrate a strong desire to help build the boys' volleyball program K-12. The Assistant Boys Volleyball Coach will help oversee all phases of the volleyball program including, but not limited to, player development, monitoring academic success, community relations, youth volleyball involvement, and equipment inventory.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to the team that consistently achieves academic and athletic success. The candidate will help monitor academic progress, develop training programs that are safe and effective for student-athletes, and schedule games and practices in accordance with school policies.

Employment is pursuant upon appropriate background checks and the obtainment of proper CPR, Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Management Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Pupil Activity Supervision Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
