Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team.

For this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations and for helping with order processing

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Manage accounts payable and collections processes to ensure timely payments. Record journal entries and maintain accurate ledgers. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Utilize Excel and Quickbooks for data entry, analysis and forecasting and other reporting tasks, Handle billings, shipping and month-end closing activities and reconciliations. Handle bill paymeny, rent collection and lease issues for real estate affiliates.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Proven experience in accounting roles. Strong knowledge of accounts payable and double-entry bookkeeping principles. Proficiency in Excel, Certiflex and accounting software. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Stable employment history Positive personality to interact with customers and handle order entry.
