Description:
CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a Coordinated Entry Assessment Specialist under the direction of the Director of Coordinated Entry. Coordinated Entry Assessment Specialist is responsible for conducting high-quality, trauma-informed Coordinated Entry (CE) assessments for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Morris County. This role focuses primarily on completing standardized CE assessments, entering and managing client data in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), and ensuring that each assessment is accurate, complete, and aligned with federal, state, and County CE standards.
This position does not involve mobile street outreach. Instead, it is centered on assessment appointments, phone screenings, walk-ins, and data entry to support Morris County's Coordinated Entry System. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, comfortable with technology, and able to create a supportive environment while gathering sensitive information from clients.
