Summary

We are seeking a Assembly Solder Technician to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our electronic access control products. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with industry regulations and enhancing product reliability.

Soldering and Assembly

: Perform precision soldering of both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole components onto PCBs using soldering irons and other specialized equipment.

Rework and Repair

: Troubleshoot, repair, and rework defective solder joints or damaged assemblies down to the component level, including multi-pin components.

Inspection and Quality Control

: Conduct visual and microscopic inspection of solder joints and finished products to ensure they meet industry standards

Technical Documentation

: Read, interpret, and follow detailed assembly instructions, technical drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).

Collaboration

: Work effectively with production teams, quality assurance inspectors, and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Education

: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required. Vocational training or an associate degree in electronics is beneficial.

Experience

: 3 years min experience in electronic assembly and soldering

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in various hand soldering techniques. Ability to use precision hand tools, multimeters, and magnification tools (microscopes). Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuitry. Familiarity with quality control standards and safety protocols Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Exceptional attention to detail and patience.
