, the premier manufacturer of stainless steel exhaust systems and components, is seeking a qualifiedAssembler/Material Handler
to join our team our Induction Team in Johnson City, TN.We are seeking an individual who wishes to join our growing team on day shift and who is reliable and prepared to work all assigned hours.
Our
Assembler/Material Handler
prepares, collects and distributes inventory and tooling to various locations throughout the work day from worker order and/or verbal instruction and aids in the assembly of induction components within the Borla Performance facility and :Reads work orders or follows oral instruction to gather information of needed materials and procures them.
Safely loads, unloads and moves materials within facility, yards or work site utilizing hand truck, dolly, or other method.
Verifies that all issued materials and tooling are the proper size, part number and items needed.
Assists with assembly of Induction kits and/or sub-assemblies.
Returns all unused materials and tooling to the designated department.
Assists with the cleaning, packaging, and boxing of kits.
Follows safety rules and expectations and uses safe work practices.
Follows or performs activities critical to Quality Management System.
Miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of assembly/material handling experience preferred.
Capable of safely operating various types of material handling equipment and manufacturing power/hand tools.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and interpret drawings.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Ability to stand for entire working shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs though-out entire working shift.
