Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this position is to Read Packing List and Assembly Drawings in order to assemble and package order.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow assembly instructions, processes and procedures by reviewing assembly instructions, drawings and parts lists. Assembles orders by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. Operate automated assembly machines, including hand-feeding of links, to complete production tasks Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Leader Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required for building orders. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic reading, writing and math skills required Follow directions carefully to complete the orders correctly. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
