Job Description
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate production machines and equipment within acceptable practice.
Meets established production standards.
Make machine set-ups as requested.
Perform minor maintenance on machines and equipment, including lubrication and minor maintenance checks.
Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
Accurately report daily activities on work orders, schedules and other media as required.
Must be able to operate material handling equipment such as, but not limited to forklifts, overhead hoists and cranes, pallet jacks, etc.
Must understand how to use sales acknowledgments with production work orders.
Must be able to use a Bill of Materials to build units with proper materials and parts.
Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
Other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited school.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read and write legibly.
Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
Must pass drug and alcohol screen and Pulmonary Function test.
