Preschool teacher assistant needed for early childhood center. Regular hours are from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Additional hours may be requested by management to meet program needs. Nationally accredited bilingual preschool program seeks assistant to help provide instruction, supervision, and care for three- and four-year-old children during and after the school day.

  • EARLY CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE A MUST!
  • High School Diploma required. Associate degree or CDA credential preferred.

MT. LAKES COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL – TODDLER LEAD TEACHER
Mt. Lakes Country Day School is a small family-owned child care center located at 356 Rt. 46 East in Mt. Lakes. Our Toddler classroom is staffed by a team of 3 teachers, 1 Lead Teacher and 2 qualified assistants, with 15 children ranging in age from 18 to 36 months old. We are currently looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM -3:30 PM.
DETAILS
  • Minimum of CDA, A.A. or B.A. in Child Development, Early Education, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a toddler classroom.
  • Implement The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos and The Teaching Strategies GOLD Assessment; ensuring that individual child learning goals and outcomes are established and met.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, the Director, and Toddler staff.
