Job Description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the aseptic filling equipment



. Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components



. Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests



. Plan and schedule of fluid transfers and raw lines CIP with HTST and blending employees



. Follow and understand production schedule and adjust as needed to avoid down time



. Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary



. Ensure timely staging of packaging materials



. Maintain and monitor quality of product and processes



. Ensure accurate and timely monitoring of critical control points



. Perform CIP processes for all processing equipment



. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately



. Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues



. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

COMPENSATION:

$30.76/hour
Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

. High school diploma or equivalent preferred



. 2 to 4 years of manufacturing/production experience needed, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry



. Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

. Able to follow directions and carry out instructions



. Able to effectively work in a team environment



. Able to legibly write entries for record keeping



. Able to work in a fast-paced environment



. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals



. Must be able to read, write and speak English
