San Francisco Merionettes is one of the oldest artistic swimming clubs in the US. An elite club with over 60 athletes and continue to grow. We are dedicated to helping athletes develop strength, creativity, and confidence in and out of the water. Position Overview

We are seeking an

enthusiastic and dedicated Artistic Swimming Coach

to join our coaching team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with youth athletes, eager to contribute to a collaborative coaching culture, and interested in growing with our club as we expand our programs.

This coach will work with an

age group team

, developing skills in figures, routines, and performance, while helping to foster a love of the sport.

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to age group athletes in coordination with the head coach. Lead engaging practice sessions focusing on technique, choreography, endurance, and synchronization Develop creative routines that showcase artistic expression while emphasizing technical precision Provide a positive, encouraging training environment that promotes teamwork and growth. Assist with meet and competition preparation. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and the coaching staff. Participate in club events and team-building activities.

Qualifications

Experience coaching or competing in artistic (synchronized) swimming preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Enthusiastic, reliable, and collaborative attitude. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). USA Artistic Swimming coaching certification (or willingness to pursue).

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
