Job Description

:
The job of Art Teacher was established for the purpose of providing a variety of media for all assigned students regardless of their ages and needs. This position will require the teacher to plan and implement a variety of media that is age appropriate for a range of grades and adapt the art activities to meet the needs of a variety of students. The teacher will need to plan and prepare effective instruction as well as manage a classroom/learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:

• Valid PA teaching certificates in Art Education;

• Special Education certification preferred;

• Experience working with students with special needs preferred;

• Ability to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs;

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• Possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills;

• Possess strong organizational skills;

• Ability to function independently;

• Flexible and reliable.

This position is an hourly pay.
