Use your skills as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to contribute to a growing, dynamic company through Robert Half. You will be responsible for entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. This rapidly growing team is looking to add a self-starter to the accounting team! You will be processing full-cycle AP, handling a high volume of invoices per week, with high attention to detail. Major responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan
- Verify documents and codes
- Manage monthly closings and annual reports, including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP
- Answer questions from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
- Maintain, relate, and promote the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts
- Follow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks, such as general accounting
Requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Commissions accounting experience
- Proficiency in account reconciliation
- Proven knowledge of commissions
- Comprehensive knowledge of Review Invoices
- Resolve Discrepancies experience
- Post Payments experience required
- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Great Plains Solomon
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
- Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
- Experience with ERP systems
- 1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
