Responsibilities

Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to oversee activity within and around the premises, identifying any suspicious behavior or security breaches. Control access to buildings and secure areas by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks, hazards, or unauthorized access attempts. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies by assessing situations accurately and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce safety protocols and conduct inspections to prevent theft, vandalism, or loss prevention issues. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports to ensure accurate record-keeping for future reference. Provide first aid or CPR if required during emergencies while following established safety procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques and conflict management strategies. Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), or related emergency response training are highly desirable. Knowledge of CCTV systems, loss prevention methods, and security best practices to effectively monitor and protect assets. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while making quick decisions during emergencies. Strong communication skills for clear reporting, incident documentation, and liaising with emergency responders. Background in military or law enforcement service is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant security training is essential. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to security operations across various environments.
