Duties

Monitor and patrol designated premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access using CCTV systems and physical patrols. Control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed. Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, conducting thorough investigations and escalating issues to law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security technology to identify potential threats or breaches. Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying suspicious behaviors and implementing proactive measures. Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives. Manage conflicts effectively through conflict management techniques, de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and calmness.

Skills

Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies. Excellent conflict management abilities combined with effective communication skills. Certifications in first aid, CPR, or law enforcement training are highly desirable. Knowledge of security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail.
