Overview

As a Security Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. Your leadership will guide a dedicated team in implementing effective security measures while fostering a secure environment for everyone. With your expertise in conflict management and surveillance, you will be the driving force behind maintaining safety protocols and responding to incidents with confidence and professionalism.

What you'll do

Lead and supervise security personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure asset protection. Respond promptly to incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary. Provide training on first aid, CPR, and conflict management techniques to enhance team readiness. Oversee access control measures for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, security breaches, and daily activities for management review. Foster a culture of safety by promoting awareness among staff and conducting regular safety drills.

Requirements

Proven experience in a security role or law enforcement background is preferred. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring. Familiarity with first aid and CPR certification; additional training in conflict management is a plus. Military experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing emergency situations efficiently. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to ensure 24/7 security coverage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
