Join us as an Armed Security Officer on 11/21/2025, and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises during one of the busiest shopping days of the year! You will be on the front lines, protecting our customers, employees, and assets while maintaining a safe environment. Your expertise in surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response will be vital as you monitor activities and respond to any incidents that may arise.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to deter theft and ensure safety. Respond promptly to incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of all individuals on-site. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage during peak shopping hours. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potential issues with customers or staff effectively. Maintain accurate records of all incidents, shift activities, and security logs for reporting purposes. Collaborate with team members to enhance security measures and improve overall safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of security protocols and loss prevention techniques. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment. Certification in first aid and CPR is essential; additional training in conflict management is a plus. Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling difficult situations professionally. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, customers, and law enforcement personnel.
