We are currently hiring Armed Security Officers to join our team in the

McIntosh, AL

area. This position is ideal for candidates with prior military, law enforcement, or tactical experience who are dependable, professional, and capable of responding effectively to security threats.



As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. Officers may be required to perform armed response, access control, patrol functions, and tactical security duties in accordance with DSI and client-specific post instructions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors Maintain visible presence to deter unacceptable or unsafe activities Conduct vehicle and foot patrols in marked patrol units Control access at main gates, checkpoints, and protected areas Perform bag, vehicle, and personnel searches as required Escort authorized personnel and vehicles as needed Answer calls for service and respond promptly to incidents Respond to emergency situations and active threats Provide armed tactical or contingency response when required Observe, report, and correct safety hazards and suspicious activity Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the general public Follow all DSI and client-specific post instructions and procedures Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely Work effectively in all weather conditions Present a professional appearance and conduct at all times Participate in required training and remain familiar with DSI safety procedures and manuals Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Prior military service or Class 1 law enforcement experience preferred Tactical, SWAT, or specialized response training preferred Valid state driver's license Valid concealed carry permit Dependable vigilance and sound judgment at all times Reliable transportation and means of communication Current knowledge of security technology Basic to intermediate computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working within established regulations and procedures Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, prolonged standing, and moderate lifting Ability to work all assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays if required Must pass all required background checks, motor vehicle screening, and drug screening
