Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively in various situations. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring immediate care for any injured individuals. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or emergencies. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports. Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Qualifications

Valid Pistol icense required Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Proficiency in conflict management with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
