Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security, law enforcement, or military service, and will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management and loss prevention, as well as the ability to effectively monitor surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Monitor CCTV systems and maintain surveillance logs. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare detailed reports. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies. Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential confrontations.

Requirements

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, OR military service. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Must have a current Active Shooter Response Certificate. Active Dallas Law certification Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Must possess a valid armed security license as required by state regulations.
