Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Citadel Security USA is hiring an Armed Security Officer for a critical infrastructure site in the Dillon area. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced armed security officer who can stay focused through 12-hour shifts, provide strong access control, and maintain a calm and professional presence. Officers in this role help ensure public safety, support site operations, and manage vehicle screening at a high-visibility location.
Armed Security Officer Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicles approaching the dam and follow established screening procedures
• Turn away vehicles that exceed weight limits in accordance with site rules
• Accurately document and report all vehicles that are redirected
• Observe and report weather conditions that may require pass closures
• Maintain situational awareness, follow post orders, and communicate clearly with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Security Guard License (Guard Card) or the ability to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience
• Ability to carry a firearm under federal, state, and site regulations
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience in critical infrastructure, hospital security, or similar high-security environments
