As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires both driving and armed responsibilities, allowing you to respond quickly while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor for and report any security-related hazards or unusual occurrences as observed during patrols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or violations of site policies. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or other personnel as needed. Complete required reports and logs related to security-related incidents, patrols, and activities. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols, especially regarding the handling and carrying of firearms as an armed patrol officer.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
