Armed Security Officer - All Shifts

Duties and Responsibilities:



We're hiring reliable, experienced, Armed Security Officers! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle Enforce company and client policies Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch Respond to incidents in a quick manner Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post One will only use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, when necessary to protect life Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have proper relief Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Monitor for irregular or unusual activity Secure facility and designated areas Investigate and prepare reports on incidents

Qualifications:

Ability to stand or walk for long periods Must have your own 9mm Weapon? Must have excellent written and communication skills Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior High school diploma or GED equivalent Must at least 21 years of age? Armed Security License? Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military background preferred

Physical Requirements:

This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1-2 miles per shift) Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
