Twin City Security is looking for Armed Security Officers for
Full-time, day
positions at theLauderdale County DHR office
during hours of operation. DHR will also conduct simultaneous screening as this position requires direct interaction with DHR patrons and employees.Candidate is required to own a handgun and current handgun permit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Protect people and property
- Patrol interior and exterior of building(s)
- Act as a visual deterrent to crime and other undesired activities
- Write detailed incident reports
- Assist supervisor in resolving client issues or escalating issues to management in a timely manner
Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age
- Possess current Handgun permit
- Own (or willing to own) handgun for use on post
- Be of good moral character
- Pass a pre-employment background investigation/post-offer drug screen
- Be able to obtain and maintain state certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
NO FELONY CONVICTIONS. NO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CONVICTIONS. Misdemeanors will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must qualify under Alabama State Regulatory Board (ASRB) laws and regulations.
