As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrols in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents at a government location. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Adhere to all site-specific protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
