Responsibilities



Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share within your assigned territory, utilizing outside sales techniques and territory management best practices. Identify, qualify, and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing campaigns to expand the customer base. Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, conducting product demos, and upselling additional solutions to maximize revenue. Conduct regular business development activities including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals with B2B clients across various industries. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software such as Salesforce to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand awareness and attract new clients. Provide ongoing account management support by addressing customer inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and fostering long-term relationships. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services and facilitate smooth onboarding for new clients. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and community outreach efforts to promote brand visibility within your region.

Qualifications



Proven experience in outside sales or business development with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Demonstrated expertise in B2B sales, account management, territory management, and direct sales approaches. Strong knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead generation, pipeline tracking, and analysis. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to service delivery. Ability to conduct engaging product demos and effectively upsell solutions tailored to client needs. Solid understanding of marketing principles as they relate to territory growth strategies. Exceptional communication skills--both verbal and written--with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward lead generation and business expansion efforts. Analytical skills necessary for market analysis and strategic planning. Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams for seamless operations.
