Job Description


Overview:

Provide operational support to the Food and Beverage Manager, ensuring high quality standards of food and guest service. This is a full-time, year round position with a competitive salary, 401K, vacation and sick pay, health insurance, park perks, and a great off-season schedule (9am-5pm Monday - Friday.)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees operation of multiple locations to ensure duties are performed in a safe manner. Takes action to ensure an efficient operation of food production, sales transactions, and cleanliness.
  • Supports the seasonal leadership team with managerial presence and works with team to train, develop, and coach staff. Works with team to establish location expectations, goals, and daily assignments.
  • Works closely with seasonal associates to give them the tools and feedback they need to be successful and to have a positive work experience.
  • Prepares annual goals and makes tactical plans to work within budgetary guidelines to meet daily financial goals, including revenue, per capita, cost of goods, and labor expenses.
  • Manages compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Strives to improve quality control standards for food in Food & Beverage locations. Ensures compliance of health and safety regulations per Park, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Communicates division status on an on-going basis, including operational issues, associate concerns, guest complaints, equipment needs, etc. to Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Oversees all staffing requirements while ensuring proper shift coverage to achieve budget goals.
  • Completes departmental and administrative paperwork, such as order forms, disciplinary action forms, and HR related forms.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and able to walk on concrete or asphalt for long periods of time.
  • Effectively carry out all other duties, functions, and responsibilities as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, motivates and supervises seasonal employees. Train and delegate effectively while being a highly visible presence in the park
Qualifications:
  • A 4-year college degree in a Food & Beverage related field or a minimum of 4 years of Leadership experience in a fast paced environment related to the food service industry. Leadership experience in an Amusement Park setting is definitely a plus!
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company Policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass ServSafe Manager certification class.
  • Ability to pass a ServSafe Alcohol certification class.
  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment in the Food Service Industry.
