As a Area Manager at our cleaning company, you play a crucial role in making sure everything runs
smoothly.
Here are the key responsibilities:
Reporting Structure:
Report to the Operations Manager and keep them informed about the site's activities
Training and Support:
Train new cleaners and provide ongoing support and training to the team.
Task Management:
Ensure that the daily/nightly cleaning task schedules are followed.
Inspections:
Conduct daily or nightly inspections to maintain high cleaning standards.
Supply Management:
Responsible for ordering supplies, chemicals, equipment, and consumable products.
Budget Adherence:
Ensure that the cleaning tasks are completed within the budgeted hours.
Team Uniform and PPE:
Monitor and ensure that our cleaners are in Clean Team shirts or uniforms and using the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the specific account.
Staffing Coordination:
Communicate with the staffing coordinator when there's a need to fill open positions.
Customer Service:
Provide friendly service and communication to our customers.
Attend to customer needs and requests promptly.
Daily Reporting:
Send in a daily or nightly recap to keep everyone updated on the site's activities.
Security Measures:
Make sure the building is armed and secured after the cleaning tasks are completed. Your role is crucial in ensuring a well-managed, efficient, and customer-focused cleaning operation.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 1-year proven management experience
Experience coaching, mentoring and training others
Required Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have valid car insurance
Must have reliable transportation
