Please review the job profile below and apply today! Currently, Meijer Specialty Pharmacy is seeking an Area Business Manager for our Long Island territory. The ABM\xe2\x80\x99s are responsible for effectively promoting and selling Meijer Specialty Pharmacy services primarily in the Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Infectious Disease (HIV) spaces. The Area Business Managers actively sell to new physician office accounts, as well as, maintain and grow current accounts, so that sales and profitability goals are consistently achieved. . What You\'ll be Doing:
  • Generate new referrals and revenue to meet or exceed company\xe2\x80\x99s sales expectations in all applicable areas.
  • Maintain and grow referrals with existing physician accounts by providing excellent customer service by collaborating with internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain current accounts by providing updates and resolutions to customer needs/issues, and coordinating with operations, marketing, payer relations, trade, and clinical to facilitate resolutions.
  • Effectively analyze market trends and the competitive landscapes to best utilize customer data for increasing sales opportunities and maximizing company profit.
  • Clearly understand and articulate Meijer Specialty Pharmacy advantages and benefits over the competition to current and prospective MD and Physician offices, and to adapt message to best fit needs of the customer.
  • Identify key marketing and sponsorship opportunities that drive brand awareness in key markets, and to partner with Meijer marketing to ensure marketing material is relevant to meet the needs of the customer value propositions.
  • Represent Meijer Specialty Pharmacy at industry meetings and conferences to raise awareness of the company, and to educate the applicable medical staff on what a specialty pharmacy is and the benefits of using Meijer.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the market conditions within assigned territory as well as the disease states and pharmaceuticals that Meijer Specialty Pharmacy serves.
What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of Business to Business (B2B), direct selling or medical sales experience
  • Results oriented with the ability to actively engage in maintaining and developing new business
  • The ability to uncover needs and be a change agent
  • Dedicated to making customer service a priority and building strong relationships
  • Must demonstrate a competitive nature and show resilience in the face of challenges
  • Strong analytical skills to provide territory and data analysis, territory management, and account prospecting
  • Must have a self-starting, self-managing, independent work style
  • Team player with the ability to work with multiple people to help provide customer solutions
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
. . For jobs performing work in California or NYC, the salary range is: $94,262.00 - $149,537.00 Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as location, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
